INGREDIENTS

  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp BBQ-Rub (spice mixture)
  • 1 zucchini (approx. 250 g/9 oz)
  • 1 red or yellow bell bell pepper (approx. 250 g/9 oz)
  • 400 g (14 oz) chicken breast fillet

  • 4 wooden skewers

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Wash rosemary and thyme, shake dry, pluck off needles or leaves and chop finely. Peel garlic and chop just as finely. Mix herbs and garlic with olive oil and BBQ rub, then set aside.
  2. Clean and wash zucchini and peppers. Cut the zucchini into about 16 equal slices and the peppers into about 16 equal pieces. Wash the chicken, pat dry and cut into about 16 equal-sized cubes with edges about 3 cm long.
  3. Mix the vegetables and the meat with the herb oil so that everything is covered with the oil. Cover and marinate in a cold place for about 1 hour.
  4. At the end of the marinating time, alternate the meat and vegetables decoratively on wooden skewers. Place the skewers in the hot air fryer and fry in the "Poultry" program at 200 °C for about 10-12 minutes, depending on the desired browning. Then remove and enjoy immediately.
  5. Serve with antipasti vegetables and baguette.

Tip

Pork can also be used instead of chicken breast fillet. The cooking time is then extended to about 12-15 minutes.
