INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lt tomato puree
  • ½ lt vegetable stock
  • 500 g stale bread
  • 1 onion
  • basil leaves
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • EQUIPMENT

    1 saucepan 24

    PREPARATION

    1. Cut the stale bread into thin slices, brown the onion and oil in a saucepan, then pour the tomato puree, putting a few basil leaves and cook for 10 minutes.

    2. Dip the slices of bread in the sauce and add the boiling vegetable stock. Cook for 30/40 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the bread is completely undone, adding salt to taste.

    3. Serve in a holster with toasted bread and seasoned with oil.
