SURFACE
SILVINOX
Most DEMEYERE products are stainless steel and have a unique Silvinox surface. Impurities are removed from the surface, and corrosion resistance is increased. This makes the stainless steel easy to clean and resistant to fingerprints, aggressive cleaning agents or highly acidic foods. The products remain silver-white, even after years of use.

7-PLY-MATERIAL
7-Ply material is a unique technology consisting of seven metal alloys, including stainless steel and an aluminum core. This technology is used in both the base and the walls of the pans and ensures optimum heat distribution over the entire surface of the pan right to the edge, as well as perfect control of the cooking process. Thanks to TriplInduc, the 7-layer material achieves up to 30% more power on induction hobs.
The overall thickness of the 7-layer material is always adapted to the cooking method to ensure ideal heat distribution.

5-PLY-MATERIAL
This special combination of different alloys - including aluminum - ensures that the heat is not just concentrated in one place but is distributed evenly over the entire surface of the pan. Thanks to the magnetic stainless steel on the outside, the products are suitable for all hob types, including induction.
INDUCTOSEAL BASE
The InductoSeal base consists of seven layers. A copper layer, hermetically sealed into the base, ensures optimum heat distribution across the entire base and creates a heat-conducting surface up to 33% larger than a conventional base. InductoSeal enables a controlled cooking process on a low flame and saves energy. The capsule is hermetically sealed on the side and is particularly hygienic, as no water, grease, or dirt can penetrate the base.
INDUCTOBASE BASE
The InductoBase base comprises seven layers with a thermally conductive pure aluminum core. This 5 mm thick aluminum layer guarantees even heat distribution over the entire base for optimum performance, even on a low flame.
CAPSULE BASE
The products in the Resto by DEMEYERE series are made of 18/10 stainless steel and have a 4 mm thick capsule base. The base consists of three layers: stainless steel on the inside, a 3 mm thick aluminum core for good heat conduction in the middle, and magnetic stainless steel on the outside. This means that the cookware can be used on all types of hobs, including induction. The products are also suitable for use in the oven.
SPECIALIST IN INDUCTION
As a pioneer in induction cookware, DEMEYERE developed specific materials for cooking on induction as early as the end of the 1970s. Unique DEMEYERE technologies such as ControlInduc and TriplInduc guarantee greater induction efficiency, speed and safety.
CONTROLINDUC
Induction hobs produce very intense heat in a short space of time. To maintain the ideal frying temperature, DEMEYERE has developed pans with ControlInduc, a safety system that limits the maximum temperature of pans on induction hobs to 250 °C. At a temperature of up to +/- 220 ˚C, pans with ControlInduc heat up just like any other cookware. Above this temperature, the power of the inductors will slowly decrease and then stabilize at 245 to 250 °C. If you then add something to the pan, for example a piece of fish or a little pancake batter, it cools down and the inductors are automatically raised again.
TRIPLINDUC
TriplInduc is a unique combination of three alloys that increases induction cooking performance by up to 30%. This composition also guarantees a constantly flat base so that the heat source can be changed anytime.
CONTROLINDUC - THE MATERIAL
The material used by DEMEYERE in the outer layer of the ControlInduc pans has very special properties. It is a special alloy that remains magnetic up to a temperature of 250°C. Above this temperature, the material loses its magnetic properties and tells the induction plate that the energy supply must be reduced. An induction hotplate requires a magnetic material in order to generate heat. In this way, ControlInduc avoids the loss of heating time and ensures that the pan always stays warm without the risk of overheating.
CAREFREE FRYING WITH LITTLE FAT
Some frying pans from the DEMEYERE range have a non-stick coating: Ceraforce Ultra or Duraslide Ultra.
CERAFORCE ULTRA
This innovative ceramic coating is free from PTFE and PFOA and does not release toxic gases when frying on a high flame. Its good non-stick properties are combined with extra-high scratch resistance.
DURASLIDE ULTRA
Duraslide Ultra is the latest generation of conventional non-stick coatings. Its three-layer coating provides even better wear resistance. It is safe to use up to 230 °C, but not under the grill.
FUNCTIONAL AND AESTHETICALLY PLEASING
TIGHTLY CLOSING LIDS
The lids from DEMEYERE fit perfectly on the cookware and seal very well. They can also be used interchangeably with pots and pans of the same diameter. With a tight-fitting lid, neither heat nor energy is lost.
ERGONOMIC HANDLES
The handles are made of solid 18/10 cast stainless steel and stay cool for longer on electric hobs. Caution with gas hobs! Flames that rise above the base edge can heat the handles. The unique welding technology makes the handles extra strong and extremely hygienic. Dirt, grease and bacteria do not stick to them.
PERFECT POURING RIM
The top rim of DEMEYERE saucepans and frying pans has a specially shaped pouring rim. This enables clean pouring without dripping. Frying pans and conical sauté pans do not have a pouring rim, except for the conical sauté pans from the Atlantis and Industry series.
