WARRANTY
MANUFACTURERS DEFECT & WARRANTY CLAIMS
You will be pleased to know that all our products are fully guaranteed against defects in materials and / or craftsmanship. The warranty does not cover, wear from normal use, wood products, such as knife handles or cutting boards, or any damage resulting from use other than the intended purpose of the item.
If you feel your product qualifies, we would appreciate the opportunity to inspect your ZWILLING J.A. Henckels product this may include sending a photo or returning the product back.
Some exclusions to the ZWILLING warranty may include:
- • Wear and tear through normal use
- • Damage caused by misuse or abuse of the product
- • Commercial use
- • Products that specify a limited duration of the warranty on the product packaging
- • Failure to adhere to ZWILLING guidelines for the general care and use for products, for example putting wooden products in the dishwasher.
- • Products with wooden parts
- • Accidental damage
Please contact customer service to assess your warranty claim to begin your returns process. Once we deem your product eligible; we will provide you with an RA (Return Authorization) number for warranty processing.

- • If your product is damaged, providing a picture can really speed up the process.
- Once your file has been reviewed, ZWILLING Customer Service will email back with an RA (Return Authorization) number. Print off the email with the RA number and put it in the box with the product you are returning.
- Important: We need the RA (Return Authorization) number to make sure you need the credit! If we don't have it, we are going to have a hard time giving you a credit or exchange.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Once you receive and RA (Return Authorization) number and customer service has instructed you to send the item back., please allow 4-6 weeks for the inspection process and return delivery of your item.
Product replacement may not be exact. Defective products that are discontinued and no longer available will be replaced with a product of equivalent value and function.

Please note our warehouse space is closed to the public and customer returns/warranties will not be accepted.

If returning a knife or shear: To comply with Canadian Postal regulations, items must be wrapped to protect their point and edges from cutting through the box or padded envelope in which they are mailed. Choose the shipping carrier of your choice and return the items insured with tracking (for your protection) to the address below.
BEFORE SENDING IN YOUR PRODUCT, PLEASE READ
- • Print off the email with the RA number and put it in the box with the product you are returning.
- • If your Zwilling product is defective and is eligible for this limited warranty, ZWILLING will replace your product. If the item you returned is out of stock or discontinued, we will do our best to offer you a comparative item in quality and cost. We do not offer repairs of any kind.
- • If your item needs repair, please find an independent company that can perform the repair. If your item is damaged during repair, it will no longer qualify for warranty.
- • If your item is sentimental to you, please do not send it in as all returns are immediately reviewed and recycled. We will NOT be able to return any item(s) to you for whatever reason you're not happy with the replacement.
- • Please do not send in any personal items such as a knife holder/case, pan protectors or special wrappings that you would like returned to you, as it will be discarded.
- • Please allow 4-6 weeks to receive your replacement.
