Description

This fast-heating, 12-inch Chinese Wok is ideal for everything from beef and broccoli to deep-fried chicken cutlets. Featuring thin, high curved sides and a thick, flat bottom, it’s the ideal cookware for high-heat cooking. The tempered glass lid lets you monitor your food as it cooks while the stay-cool, ebony handles are designed for maximum maneuverability. And the stainless-steel hanging loop makes it easy to store your wok when you’re through cooking.

High-quality carbon steel combined with advanced heating technology ensures fast and even heat distribution; it takes less than a minute for the wok to heat up to 356°F, the ideal temperature for stir frying. The Carbonitriding technology makes the wok extremely corrosion-resistant and safe to use with metal utensils. The wok base is suitable for all stovetops, including induction.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken lid and no replacement I am very disappointed with Zwilling Canada. The lid of my dragon wok is broken, and I have been told that you don't provide spare parts for a lot of products that you are selling!! This is very disappointing. What is the point of buying kitchenware at this price and supposedly long-lasting if you don't provide any solution when a part is broken? Even a lid? I am a Staub collector. It was my first time buying a Zwilling product, and it would be my last one. Not to mention a terrible customer service.

Most carbon steel woks are needed to be seasoned before use, and get a non stick effect. Is this carbon steel wok pre-seasoned?

I seasoned it and it works great. I wasn't sure it was seasoned. I had a nonstick before and regretted it even though it was from this company. I had it for four years but eventually it wasn't long-term. In the past I had steel and missed it. I am very happy with this beauty.
