INGREDIENTS

  • 200 g shelled whole nuts (e.g. shelled almonds, cashew nuts)
  • 1 l water

To taste

  • Agave nectar
  • Ice cubes

Preparation

  1. Weigh and measure all the ingredients, prepare them and place them ready.
  2. Put the nuts in a bowl, cover with water, cover and leave to soften for at least 8 hours (preferably overnight) in the refrigerator.
  3. After the softening time, pour off surplus water. Place the drained nuts in the blender jar with fresh water. Seal with the lid.
  4. Select the Smoothie setting and press the button to run the program. Or blend manually to achieve the desired consistency.
  5. Once the blending is finished, remove the lid. Sweeten to taste with Agave nectar. Serve the nut drink with ice cubes or as an alternative to milk.


Tip

For an optimal result, run the Smoothie program 2-3 times. The nut drink can last for approx. 1 week when stored cool in a sealed container.

Keep prepared meals fresh by storing them in the fridge or freezer in suitable FRESH & SAVE vacuum system boxes and bags.
