Basil and Lime Lemonade

Ingredients
- 1 bunch of basil
- 4 unwaxed limes
- 100 g sugar
- 500 ml water
- 150 g ice cubes
- Ice cubes, lime slices and basil stems for decoration
- Mineral water for topping up
Preparation
- Wash basil and pat dry; peel limes with a knife and add to the blender together with basil, sugar, water and ice cubes. Put on the lid and start the Smoothie program. Remove the lid when the program has finished.
- Decorate the glasses with ice cubes, lime slices and basil stems and divide the lemonade equally between the glasses. Top up with mineral water and enjoy immediately.
Top tip:
For a smooth consistency, strain the lemonade through a fine sieve before pouring.
