Orange and Thyme Lemonade

Ingredients
- 4 sprigs of thyme
- 2 unwaxed lemons
- 6 unwaxed juicing oranges
- 100 g brown sugar
- 250 ml water
- 100 g ice cubes
- Ice cubes, lemon and orange slices as well as thyme sprigs for decoration
- Mineral water for topping up
Preparation
- Wash thyme, pat dry and strip off the leaves. Wash one lemon and one orange in hot water and finely grate the zest. Peel the remaining citrus fruits with a knife and add to the blender together with zest, thyme leaves, sugar, water and ice cubes. Put on the lid and start the Smoothie program. Remove the lid when the program has finished.
- Place the ice cubes, lemon and orange slices and thyme sprigs in the glasses and divide the lemonade evenly between the glasses. Top up with mineral water and enjoy immediately.
Top tip:
For a smooth consistency, strain the lemonade through a fine sieve before pouring.
