Romaine Lettuce and Apple Smoothie
This green smoothie is not only refreshing because of the use of mint, but because it also includes romaine lettuce, spinach and Granny Smith apples.

INGREDIENTS
For the smoothie
- 1 romaine lettuce heart
- 60 g baby spinach
- 2 Granny Smith apple
- 10 g ginger
- 2 sprig of mint
- 1 lime
- 250 ml cooled and unfiltered apple juice
- 250 ml cold flat water
For the decoration
- 6 slices of lime
- 6 mint tips
Preparation
- Weigh and measure all the ingredients, prepare them and place them ready.
- Trim the romaine lettuce heart, chop finely, wash and spin dry. Trim the spinach, wash it and spin dry. Wash the Granny Smith apple, core (if desired) and cut into eight pieces. Peel the ginger. Wash the sprig of mint and shake dry. Halve the lime and squeeze the juice.
- Add the ingredients to the blender jar in the following order: romaine lettuce, spinach, mint, ginger, apple, lime juice, water, apple juice. Close the blender jar with the lid.
- Select the Ice Cream setting and press the button to run the program. Or blend manually to achieve the desired consistency. Once the program has finished, remove the lid.
- Serve the smoothie in glasses. Decorate with the mint and slice of lime and enjoy immediately.
Tip
If you don't like mint, simply leave it out or replace it with parsley.
