Description
Originally used to cook delicious French casserole dishes, this round cocotte from STAUB's La Cocotte range will help you to do the same.
A cocotte can also be used to make delicious meat dishes such as beef bourguignon, as well as vegetable stews like ratatouille. The dish cooks all ingredients slowly and gently so that their flavours can fully develop and blend together.
The black STAUB cocotte also demonstrates how you can cook food in style: its neutral colour is a match for almost any kitchen. Since cast iron STAUB cocottes feature a matte black enamelled interior, the black colour found on the exterior is replicated on the inside.
This enamel enhances the natural flavour of a dish and is extremely robust, scratch-resistant and easy to care for, just like cast iron. The round STAUB cocotte has a diameter of 20cm, a height of approximately 14cm and a volume of 2.2 litre. This casserole dish can be used on any hob, induction hob or oven to create exquisite food.
