ZWILLING Tanrei 14 cm Chef's knife compact
Description
Do you want your new chef's knife to be premium quality and particularly comfortable to hold? Our Japanese Chef's knife compact from the ZWILLING TANREI series is the knife for you! Both in terms of quality and appearance, the compact chef's knives from Japan are an excellent choice. Invest in your high standards of quality, durability and design. Invest in the new dimension of TANREI knives.
A dimension that once again combines two qualities that have always belonged together at ZWILLING: Japanese craftsmanship and the German art of engineering. These two qualities are united in the TANREI Chef's knife. The result is a compact chef's knife that combines plenty of great features with a blade length of only 14cm.
It also has 100 layers of our premium steel and the FC 63 core in its ultra-sharp blade. Honed very thinly using the Honbazuke method by a master hand in Japan, it allows extremely precise cuts on the board and even when cutting directly in the hand. The Japanese Chef's knife compact has an outstanding hardness of 63 HRC and a graceful appearance with its damask pattern and elegant micarta handle.

ZWILLING TANREI knife
A new dimension, made possible by our equally new premium steel. ZWILLING developed this steel and used it for the first time in the new TANREI knife series. 100 layers in Damascus design encase the FC 63 core and guarantee the superior hardness and edge retention of all the knives in the series. Japanese knives and ZWILLING become TANREI – a combination with a tradition and a new chapter in the success story.
Chef's knife, compact and complete
Even in serious culinary projects, you can go a long way with a compact chef's knife. Just like its bigger siblings, the TANREI compact chef's knife impresses with great versatility and supports you with its short but ultra-hard 14 cm blade.
