Amazing knives!
These knives are really amazing! They are very sturdy and comfortable in your hands. When I first received them I tested them on a pineapple and I was blown away by how well each knife performed. The large knives like the Chef's knife and the Santoku Hollow Edge knife cut through the pineapple like it was butter, as expected. But even the Tomato knife, the Boning knife and the 2.75" Utility knife sliced right through that pineapple without any problems. In fact, the Tomato knife was able to cut super thin slices in that pineapple! The block is also very well made. Overall, this set is beautiful, well made, and I expect it will last a long time.

Steak Knives are Great
Years ago I purchased a set of Henckels Everedge Plus steak knives. In addition to using them on meat, I also enjoyed them for cutting tomatoes, and most soft fruits / vegetables. Over time I lost all but three of the steak knives and this year (2024) wanted to replace them. The only way I could buy the steak knives was by purchasing the 17 piece knife block set. While the steak knives remain my favorites, I'm finding the Everedge blade on the other sized knives in the set not to be as functional.

Great Product!
Had swilling knives for years (30 years), came time to get new knives. I only considered Zwilling and Everedge Plus seemed like a winner. So far, so good! Love the block too. The only negative comments I have are 1) they are thicker than my other knives - that’s more dog a me thing. I just have to get used to that. I guess there’s really no standard on thickness. And 2) there are 2 knife slots not filled. I am ish there was an option to complete the set, perhaps with QR codes. Also, no scissors or steel. Again, perhaps Zwilling could include options with registration to purchase these items or QR codes to purchase.

Block doesn’t match set
The knives and block are very nice, but the block has 4 more slots than knives, so it looks like something is missing. Looks like there’s a spot for scissors, a sharpener, and more knives, but my set doesn’t include those.

Rusting After 10 Days
Bought this set because we have always had a great experience with Henckels knives. This set is very disappointing! They starting rusting after just 10 days. We have photos but it won't let us upload them here. We wash and dry our knives just like the manufacturer recommends and have never had quality knives rust. These are obviously not stainless steel. We are not happy with this purchase at all. We have had the Classic Henckels knives and they have never rusted. Maybe we should have just stuck with those instead of trying this set.

I have only had this set since Christmas of 2019,all of the knife's are rusted and I am very dissapointed,they are also very dull and do not stay sharp for long at all after using the sharpening blade. I would like a refund.

Stunning knife Set-JA Henckels Everglades Plus
We received our JA Henckels Everglades Plus Knife set. Much care was given to the packaging. The knife set looked stunning and had a special feel when holding it in the hand. It was contoured to fit in the hands of a right or left handed person. . I immediately put the knifes to use. Slicing tomatoes, veggies and Meat was a breeze. It cut razor thin and in one motion. No Jiggle needed. The workmanship of the handle and stainless steel blade is professional grade. These are top of the line knives accommodating wide range of cutting needs.

What sharpening/honing accessories do I need to maintain these knives? Can I use a regular steel bad sharpener with this "ever edge" product? All knives eventually need sharpening and honing.
Because of the micro-serrated edge on these blades, they cannot be sharpened with traditional sharpening tools. They should not require sharpening during their normal lifespan. As you find the knives dulling over time, you will need to have them sharpened by a professional who can sharpen serrated knives or replace them.

I have a JA Henckels International Everedge knife set from several years back, but have lost one of the 4.5" steak knives. The remaining knives are sad and lonely. What can I do to restore the serenity of my knife-set?
Unfortunately, the EverEdge line has been discontinued and replaced by the EverEdge Plus line.
