INGREDIENTS
- 125 g room-temperature butter (or margarine)
- 50 g sugar
- 1 pack of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 eggs
- 250 g wheat flour
- 1 level tsp. baking powder
- 250 ml buttermilk
ALSO
- Oil for greasing
Preparation
Mix the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Stir in the eggs. Mix the flour and baking powder and add to the dough alternately with the buttermilk. Mix everything into a smooth dough.
Preheat the waffle iron, grease well and bake golden yellow waffles one after the other. Keep the baked waffles warm.
Serve with icing sugar and fruit compote as desired.
