INGREDIENTS
- 200 g chicken breast fillet
- 2 cm ginger
- 1 garlic clove
- 1-2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp neutral vegetable oil
- 100 g basmati rice
- 1 small ripe mango
- 1 carrot
- 1 ripe avocado
- ½ cucumber
- 1 small red onion
- 60 g cooked edamame beans
Topping
- 2 tsp roasted white and black sesame seeds
- cilantro leaves
HOW TO MAKE IT
- Wash, pat dry and cut chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Place the chicken pieces in a ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE Glass Vacuum Bowl M. Peel the ginger and garlic. Place the round ZWILLING Fine Grater Insert in the splash guard of the ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE BOWLS Accessory Set and grate the ginger and garlic over the meat. Add the soy sauce and mix well. Place a ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE BOWLS Vacuum Lid M on the bowl, vacuum seal and chill for at least 1 hour. When ready to serve, fry in hot oil in a frying pan on all sides and set aside to cool.
- Cook the basmati rice according to the packet instructions. Allow it to cool.
- Peel the mango, cut the flesh from the pit and dice. Clean and peel the carrot and slice lengthwise into fine strips. Cut avocado in half, remove pit, peel and dice. Clean, wash and slice the cucumber. Peel and halve the onion and slice or dice finely.
- Divide the cooked Basmati rice evenly between two ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE Glass Vacuum Bowls S or M and garnish with the prepared ingredients. Top with the edamame beans and sprinkle with sesame seeds and cilantro leaves.
- Serve immediately or store in the fridge with the matching ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE Bowl Vacuum Lids.
Tip
Vacuum sealing the avocado will help it retain its beautiful green color and prevent it from browning.
Info
The ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE BOWLS Accessory Set includes a non-slip silicone mat that can also be used as a baking paper substitute. There are three graters for fine and coarse grating, plus slicing and an additional splash guard, for whipping cream, for example.
