INGREDIENTS

  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, pepper

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, dry them and cut out the stem. Cut them into even, thin slices, keeping the stem base to the side so that the seeds remain in the casing.
  2. Lay the tomato slices on the cutting board and drizzle or brush thinly with olive oil on both sides and season with salt and pepper, with the ZWILLING ENFINIGY Electric Salt and Pepper Mill.
  3. Arrange the tomato slices side by side on the rack of the ZWILLING air fryer so that they are not overlapping. Bake at 400°F for 8-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the slices, until crispy. Bake the remaining tomato slices in the same way.
  4. Remove the tomato chips, taste and season as needed while still warm. Let cool and enjoy.

Tip

You can also season the tomatoes with herbs, e.g. Italian pizza seasoning or herbs de Provence.
