My family has used a Zwilling Henckels knife set probably since before I was born, and I thought it was about time I began collecting a few of my own. I started with the 10" sharpening steel, and it is simply but robustly built and I suspect it will last a long time. I don't really have anything justifiably negative to say about it. It does what it is designed to do and it does it well.

This is one product I have slept on getting and after honing my steel, I definitely see a difference in my knife staying sharper for longer!

It is keeping my knives in great working form for all my cutting, chopping and slicing needs from meat to poultry to fish and vegetables. So glad I have it. Some friends gave it to me as a gift this past Christmas.

How often should I use the honing steel on my Zwilling chef's knife?
