Gorgeous
Love that it has its own self sharpening block, but these knives are elegant and it is just the right amount of knives for my kitchen! I was looking for a set that did not include steak knives and was going with another brand which turned up on back order .. not only was this a bit less in price .. the quality is exceptional! Super happy with this purchase!

Zwilling does a great job of competing in the value cutlery market. The Henckels International knife lines are always a cut above the competition.
This block set is no exception. Handsome knives in a modern looking block that feel good in the hand, are very sharp and has every knife you could ever need.
The self sharpening is an added bonus to this block providing you with a sharp knife every time it's pulled out of the block!

Good Knife Set
I ordered this knife set because I desperately needed one. I researched multiple knife sets and always came back to this one. I received it in the mail yesterday, and it seems to be sturdy and feels good in my hands. The only thing I don’t like is that the block holder is designed on a diagonal, which takes up unnecessary space on my kitchen counter.

If you are hesitant to sharpen your own knives, or just don't like to do it, this block will do it for you! Each time you remove or place the knives in and out of the block, the ceramic honing wheels sharpen the knives for you. Slot are labeled to indicate which kinves go where, so this is pretty low-maintenance at its best! Great gift for yourself or for friends and family.

Terrific Set. And They Maintain Themselves!
For the record, I never thought I would be a fan of an all metal knife. But like many things these days, I'm an old dog learning new tricks. These knives - this entire line - rocks! And they look good too!
This is one of my favorite combinations of knives. It has the two 'big' knives - and 8-inch chef and a 7-inch santoku. Between the two of those there isn't much you can't do, except maybe bone a chicken. Oh. But that's ok, this set comes with a boning knife too. Perfect. The self sharpening block makes it super simple to maintain the edges on the knives and the 6 beautiful steak knives are a bonus.
These are fully forged knives - a sign of top quality. They are made with one of Zwilling's proprietary steels - so they won't stain, they will stay sharp. And they are designed for comfort with optimal sized grips for most people. They are also lighter than most knives. So if weight is an issue for you, you will like these knives.
