Rated 5 out of 5 by HomeCook5 from The Staub utensil collection has the most beautiful Acascia wood handle. I absolutely love the way it feel in my hand, it is smooth and moisture resistant. Some of my wood handled utensils have a rough unfinished feel that is not nearly as comfortable as this. The silicone spatula is easy on all of your cookware including nonstick pots and pans but it's designed perfectly for use with your Staub cast iron. The paddle is broad and thick and does a great job and incorporating ingredients. The long silicone neck keeps most food off the wood but it cleans up nicely either way.

The silicone is durable and heat resistant so it can be used in bowls, pans and skillets without fear of damaging. The thing I love most though, is the wooden handle. It has very unique wood grain that makes it feel like an heirloom piece.

This kitchen tool is a perfect spreader, food don't stick with sturdy Acacia wood handle. Handwashing only for this Staub pastry scraper, wood should never be wash in the dishwasher.

The Acacia wood handle is a nice durable wood, great for tools being used in the kitchen daily. The silicone makes for easy cleaning and safe scrapping on your enameled Staub pieces or ceramic bowls.

Thank you for contacting ZWILLING STAUB Due to the Acacia wood, we do not recommend using the dish washer. We recommended Hand washing with warm soapy water and drying. Regards, Zwilling Staub
