Description
Serve fresh fish directly from the oven to the table: For example, you can gently cook flavourful fish in the cast-iron serving dish from the Staub series and then serve it right to the table afterwards. The oval, elegant design in black draws all attention to your fish dishes in a stylish manner. The serving dish can hold up to 0.7 litres and has an attractive appearance thanks to the lid’s striking brass knob. The lid is also equipped with small nubs to redistribute accumulating condensation to the fish, so that it remains juicy during cooking and the flavours can develop fully. All in all, the dish is 36 cm long (including the handles), 8.4 cm high and 20 cm wide. Like the rest of the cookware from Staub, this oval serving dish stands out because of its modern take on classical French kitchen design. The material is robust and easy to clean, allowing you to easily cook dishes such as fresh fish for friends and family and present it to them in true style.

Everything But Wonderful For This Fish Pan!
This Staub Fish Pan is perfect for cooking fish and add few vegetables on the side for a best use of it and maximize this cast iron greatness. Depending on the occasion this fish pan can also be used for baking desserts and appetizers. It'll fit a good size fish either fillet fish or whole small fish.

I gave up eating meat several years ago and always looking for a new way to cook fish. I found it in this Staub Cast Iron Pan. Use it for Salmon & Haddock and like to cook at a high temperature. This is the perfect pan for that.

Beautiful design, shape and color of this baking dish. Everything you would expect form a Staub cast iron. The innovative black matte interior will heat evenly and quickly and retain an even temperature throughout. The size is perfectly suited for side dishes and baked fish dishes.

Fancy detail on the lid, which I am so happy to have. Perfect for side dishes! The performance is everything you would expect from Staub. Exceptional browning and release due to the innovative black matte interior. I can usually wipe this put with a damp cloth. Great size and shape.

With or Without the Cover, This Dish is Adorable
Cooking is good cast iron is a joy for me. I like that I can sear and fry and roast at high dry heat. This dish is no exception. It's a perfect for a good sized entree for one or for side dishes. The cast iron cooks evenly and heats food to perfection.

How many quarts is this oval covered baking dish?

Does this size, 9"x6.6" oval, come without a cover? I would like to purchase a cast iron dish approximately this size, but I do not want a covered dish. I did purchase the mini Staub from Bed Bath and Beyond, but that was too small (5"x3"). Thank you.
