KRAMER by ZWILLING Meiji 10-inch Bread Knife is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the Meiji Kramer by Zwilling line. It is not many places that you can buy one of Master Bladesmith, Bob Kramer's knives, that do not cost in the five figure range. We are one of those places! We partnered with Bob to bring his exacting eye for quality and uniqueness, to the home cook. This knife is super sharp and very durable due to the FC61 steel used and the double ice-hardening process. I personally love the pakkawood handle and the shape fits nicely in my hand. He designed the handle to be comfortable for right-handers and for left-handers and it is gorgeous. This is a special gift to yourself or one of you knife aficionado friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most beautiful serrated edge! This knife was designed by master knife smith Bob Kramer and he created a work of art with this serrated edge. The core is made from FC61 steel which ranks at the top of most steels on the hardness scale assuring you that the edge will be razor sharp for several lifetimes. Because of the patented ice hardening process you can be sure this knife is chip and crack resistant. There is a full tang of steel running through the handle providing the knife with added stability and perfectly balanced weight in your hand. The serrated edge, aside from being a work of art, is designed so that longer spikes first puncture the harder crust and then the full serration continues through the softer inside without crushing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for oversized bread & cake! The Meiji collection knife has an impressively wide and sharp scalop serrated layers. This bread knife is exceptional for large food to cut such as oversized bread like baguette. Perfect knife to cut through melons and leafy vegetables, will cut meat and few other fruits. Its potent core of FC61 fine carbide stainless steel is protected by 100 layers of nickel and stainless steel. Blade offers remarkable durability, sharpness, and cutting performance. The ergonomic charcoal Pakkawood handles is more comfortable for left-handed cook. Handles have a complex curvature that mirrors the palm, ensuring a secure and supremely comfortable grip. Damascus pattern on the knife provides added durability, and helps prevent food from sticking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It doesn't get any better than a Bob Kramer knife - especially the Meiji series. He is the master of bladesmiths and has been a true artisan in the knife world. To own one is to understand the sheer beauty and quality of how these are made, then loved and used in the kitchen. I love the mirrored Damascus blade and the wooden handle with the Kramer made pin. This really sets it apart from other well-known knives. The serrated bread knife will cut through those full loaves, sweet breads, rolls, and biscuits or tomatoes and citrus, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This beautiful knife designed by Master Blade Smith Bob Kramer is a work of art. With 100 layers of ladder Damascus surrounding a FC 61 core this knife is built to last. The exaggerated D shape of the handle is designed to feel secure in both the left and the right hand. These are well balanced yet light weight knives that cut with precision and ease. The serration on this bread knife is super sharp! Bites into a tough bread crust without slipping and will go through the soft inside with one stroke.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beast of a Bread Knife This 10" bread knife is a beast of a knife! No matter the size of bread loaf or watermelon, it can tackle the job with ease. It is made from incredibly durable FC61 steel which is very chip resistant. The 100 layer damascus is simply beautiful. The red wood handle has a unique shape that fits perfectly in the palm of my hand. Bob Kramer's keen knife knowledge is clearly displayed in the design, construction and quality of this knife.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An absolute necessity in any kitchen, any although titled as a ‘bread’ knife, there are far more possibilities behind this serrated knife. Not to mention, a great piece, at a great value to add to your collection. It’s was created to be ambidextrous, and exceeds expectations with quality and design. You’ll fall in love after becoming acquainted with Kramer’s Meiji bread knife, then want to add the whole collection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Zwilling employee The Meiji line of Bob Kramer knives is an asian inspired look on a western knife. The edge angle and the steel are in keeping with a typical western style Kramer production knife. The detailed and asian inspired handle with angles and smoothed corners gives the feel of a traditional eastern D shaped handle. An unexpected and stunning look to this collection.
