How long does it take to reach each temperature? I bought this on Amazon because my daughter has one and hers seems very quick. Mine does not seem as quick.

Good morning. I recently received the 1.5L Cool Touch Kettle Pro - Black and was wondering if the 1.0L Cool Touch Kettle - Black can be used on the same base as the 1.5L? There may be times when I would like the option of using a smaller kettle.

Does the Kettle turn off when lifted off the base?

YES! A nice safety feature: the kettle turns off when you lift it from the base so you aren't putting a potentially empty kettle back on the base. BOTH the 1.0 and the 1.5 liter versions turn off when lifted off the base. ;I own both,
