I liked this set for excellent packaging with 2 made in Germany forged knives partnered with hygienic 2 sided thick bamboo cutting board, one side with side indention is great for meat and fish catching liquid and flat side is perfect for vegetables, fruit, cheese and bread. This combination package set includes with a 5.5" prep knife great for cutting and slicing medium size food, a 4" paring knife aka fruit knife, shears for cutting herbs and excessive meat skins and a sharpener to ensure your knives is sharpened when needed. Great price for a exceptional value set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great way to add on to your Four Star knife collection plus get a few super useful accessories. This cutting board is a really nice size and has the perimeter well to catch drippings as you cut. The utility knife is one of my favorites and it's often a blade many kitchen don't have but it is smaller than a chef's knife but performs just as well for smaller cutting tasks. With the curved tip you can easily do the rocking motion for cutting or straight chopping. A pull through sharpener is a fool proof way of keeping your straight edge blades super sharp and performing their best.

This set is absolutely perfects for anyone ranging from your basic everyday cook to the pros. The paring knife is the perfect size for the nitty gritty work and the prep knife is something I can’t live without; the knife is great to use in a large range of ways and always made to last. As for the cutting board and sharpener those are a added bonus. The board is large and weighted so it won’t move while you cut and the sharper is key to ensuring the longevity of your knifes. Overall, absolutely in love!

The knives are very sharp with a comfortable light weight handle. No compromise in quality; they're forged from high carbon German steel. The pull through sharpener is very simple to use and is keeping the knives as sharp as they were out of the box. The cutting board is pretty enough to serve on and it doesn't dull my knives.

The knives are super sharp, durable and comfortable to hols. they are my go to for prepping fruits, vegetables and herbs. The bamboo board is a great choice for all knives. Strong and non-porous, this board will not warp or crack. The sharpening tool is a must have for your knives. Excellent set

You get a lot of essential pieces with this, a cutting board, two knives, shears and a sharpener. The cutting board is a nice bamboo wood, hygienic and not prone to cracking over time. The Four Star Prep and Paring knives are durable and sharp, great smaller blades to use for chopping, slicing and peeling.

The cutting board is beautiful, the Four Star knives are made from premium German Steel and ice hardened for long edge retention, quality scissors which are a necessity in any kitchen and finally a easy to use sharpener to keep everything in shape!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Starter Set Wanted a great set of knives but felt the larger sets had knives I would not be comfortable with especially with my skill level of cooking. I wanted to make the decision of what I needed based on my competency. Brought an in drawer organizer as well with 8 slots for knives, it may take a little time and extra money but I get to customize.
