Description

The Fresh & Save vacuum containers are designed to work with the vacuum pump to keep food fresh up to five times longer than non-vacuum storage. This set of 3 borosilicate glass containers is nestable and freezer, microwave (without vacuum seal), and dishwasher safe. The glass containers are ovenproof (without lid) and double as beautiful serving pieces at the table. Store leftover sides and snacks in the small containers. And the long, shallow, rectangular container is ideal for easy storage of lasagnas, gratins, and other baked meals in the refrigerator and freezer.

With the Fresh & Save system, you can shop once a week and refrigerate or freeze fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, and fish in our vacuum containers and bags and enjoy the benefits of your own fresh market at home. Prepare your meals days in advance and enjoy them as fresh as the day they were cooked. Cook meat sous vide or marinate meat for the grill in just 30 minutes in the vacuum bags and containers.

Here's how it works: Dock the vacuum pump onto the container or bag valve and at the push of a button it extracts the air in mere seconds. It stops automatically once a sufficient vacuum has been obtained, locking in flavor, aromas, and vitamins.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BAIT & SWITCH :( This has been a “BAIT & SWITCH”!! While the photo (just today) has been corrected from having the picture of the Gratin dish rather than the large deep vacuum container, the verbiage still CLEARLY STATES a “long, shallow dish for lasagna”. My low rating is more for the customer service (or lack there of) than for their glass vacuum containers. I have quite a few and am very happy with them. Rather than swap out the deep dish I received for athe Gratin dish they advertise, Zwilling has apologized for their error and said to just return them (which is always a big hassle)!! All I am asking for is what was advertised, but they apparently are unwilling. I took their BAIT, but won’t accept the “SWITCH”. I say this sincerely. Be warned… DON’T ANYONE ELSE BE FOOLED BY THIS!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrong item sent - Zwilling changed set components! Same as other reviewer, I ordered this set specifically because of gratin dish size. My order confirmation clearly states this. Zwilling sent me the large deep dish instead, which is not what was ordered and not something I need. The description online has all of a sudden been changed. The sizes sent are completely useless to me. I feel tricked by the company. I shouldn't have to deal with the return ordeal (which includes having to upload a picture??) and instead Zwilling should fix their error and send me the missing dish I paid for! I'll be disputing this charge with my credit card company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Save money storing food in these containers Produce and leftovers last so much longer ever since we started using the Fresh and Save storage. I love the glass containers because they are safer for food storage and look amazing in my fridge. I can wash berries and put them in these containers, and they will stay fresh for WEEKS, not days. Our leftovers still taste fresh for a week after they are stored in these containers. I love them so much I am buying a set for each of my adult children.

(They've switched the pictures to match now.) I'm glad I didn't buy 3 as originally planned, but wish they actually sold what was advertised. Do Not purchase if you hope to get what's described.
