Rated 4 out of 5 by DavidB2g from Liked the style so much we bought three sets We wanted a refresh to our old flatware, and we ended up going with three of these Kingwood sets. Just bought them so can't really comment on longevity but we liked the style. The pieces are nicely balanced and weighted in your hand, and are strong—but not overly bulky. The knives have a slightly different finish on the handles which is odd (knife handles are polished), but not something that makes me enjoy them less. We like how these have a modern uniformity in size and shape, but just enough “design” (the details on the handles) to not feel stuffy and overly modern-minimal; and definitely nice that it’s not overly contemporary or traditional either.

I was a little leery getting them online as I am pretty picky about edges on my spoons and the points on my forks. But I needed new silverware so I took the gamble. I am so glad I did!! They are wonderful. Aside from looking way better than they do in the photo, they have (for me anyway) the perfect weight to them, and all the edges are smooth. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a new set of silverware

When it comes to flatware I’m one of those people that is really particular about the weight and shape of my silverware. I can’t stand pieces that are too heavy or pieces that feel flimsy and thin. This flatware has a beautiful look and it is just the right weight in your hand. The ridges on the handle are both an attractive decoration and provide some grip. This is great everyday flatware for people who may have arthritis or other medical issues that impact hand strength or grip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Raphie from Feels good in hand Overall they are nice flatware set, I like the texture and how it feels to hold and use it. I don't know how to describe spoon shape, but these are more deep than my previous set and can work as soup spoons. There are 2 small problems, first that is specific to me is the smaller (salad) fork pushes into my palm too painfully when trying to use the side of the fork to split softer foods. The other issue that isn't specific to this product is that the balance of the flatware makes it a little more prone to sliding off the plates and bowls when clearing the table.

Did a bit of research into flatware, especially the reasoning behind “18/10, 18/0, etc”. Eventually I decided on this set and had a three course dinner to make sure I experienced the full set. I can’t say I’m disappointed. Feels great in the hand, doesn’t dig into your skin. Feels quite durable and overall a beautiful set. Also read through the use and care and instructions!!! No point in letting such an investment go to waste because of improper care.

I will be using it for every day flatware and I’m proud to have this on my table. The quality. The weight. The design. Everything about this flatware I just love. Is the nicest I have ever had and I’m so proud to have it on my table.

The only reason I deducted a star is the spoons are simply too large. The smaller one is usable for cereal and such, but the larger one is practically a serving spoon.
