Description

Created with Master Bladesmith Bob Kramer, the KRAMER by ZWILLING EUROLINE Stainless Steel Damascus Collection features stainless steel blades made to his exacting standards, maximizing curves, balance and utility. Bob's design has an extremely wide blade to maximize knuckle clearance for larger hands and for cutting through large produce and piles of food. Combined with the SG2 micro-carbide powder steel, the ice-hardened CRYODUR blades deliver scalpel-like sharpness, stay sharper longer and can withstand more sharpening over their lifespan. KRAMER by ZWILLING EUROLINE Damascus Collection 7-inch Santoku Knife is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 50.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from JUNK I bought all the Kramer kinves. I wanted the carbons first, 10/6 inch and santoku, but could not get any with handles that were not complete garbage. returned and had them replaced and the replacements were the same. Rivets sticking way out of the wood. quality control is zero. Then i bought the damascus because the micarta handle should not shrink or expand. I thought I was safe with the rivets, but they stick out too. AND the micarta is different from one knife to the next, some are rough, some are smooth. I've bought over 10 knives trying to get good ones, but they are ALL like this. I'll do a video to show you how awful they are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These 7" Santoku knife cuts through food that is so satisfying to your hands, as well as the size, shape and most favorite in these collections. It is stainless steel Damascus knife features a blade to perfection and hardness. Bob Kramer's design has an extremely wide blade to maximize knuckle clearance for larger hands and for cutting through large produce and piles of food. Chopped food can easily be transported with this impressive, broad blade. Hand washing is highly recommend to keep your knife durability because dishwasher's humidity and abrasiveness could be harmful to any knife like this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An absolute pleasure to use, no matter the task A great knife to have in any home cook’s lineup. The second you hold it in your hand you get a feel for its unbelievable weight and balance, both in the handle and through the blade. The handle feels very good in the hand, it grips well and feels comfortable after hours of slicing and dicing. It’s almost like an extension of your arm. This knife’s blade holds it’s edge like no other knife I have used before. An absolute pleasure to use, no matter the task. You will get decades of use out of this knife if cared for properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cutting Vegetables with Pleasure The Kramer Damascus line is iconic. It features Bob Kramer's over-sized, but surprisingly comfortable handles. And 101-layers of ice hardened, stainless steel blade that glides through raw meat and fish and chops potatoes and onions with equal ease. The beautiful Damascus pattern adds a touch of beauty. The 7-inch santoku is the perfect place to start building a set of world class cutting tools. It is useful for all forms of cutting and holds its acutely sharpened edge so well. For folks who really appreciate the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband has had the 10" chef knife from this line for a while and he's great at using it for so many things. I decided to add this one to his collection and he could not be happier. After cutting large pieces of meat, he can use this to chop into bite sized pieces, he can also chop some of the veggies after grilling and even uses it for fruits and cheese for desserts. All in all I'm glad he has two of his favorite knives but fathers day is coming soon... thinking which one?? Bread?? Prep?? oh, the choices!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Knife The Kramer Santoku is an extremely sharp knife. I have the Professional S chef knife , a hollow Santoku knife as well as a Pro Santoku knife and the Kramer Santoku is much more sharp than any of the them. I have to use some force to cut the beef tendons but the Kramer cut through the beef tendons with easy. I know it is an unfair comparison but the Kramer indefinitely in a league of it own. I just bought a Miyabi Black Chef knife today and I will do a comparison between the two.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a great addition I purchased the Kramer Damascu chef a while back and I love it. I was looking for another piece to pair it with. I went with the santoku. The straighter edge gives me nice straight slices. All of the Kramer attributes are there as well, wide handle with Kramer insignia, double taper blade design and a beautiful damascus style layered high carbon blade. It stays sharp for so long and is very easy to maintain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Precision Cutting, Super Sharp Blade Wanted another chef knife so we could have at least two of us preparing our family dinner get togethers. Already had the 10" and thought this was be a perfect complement to that knife. They are so sharp, cut so precisely and easily that we are able to prep our meals in short time. They are beautiful knives as well. Will be adding to this collection, with a parer and bread knife.
