This ZWILLING Pro 9-piece knife block set features an essential set of professional knives for everyday slicing and dicing, housed in a contemporary knife block. Create garnishes and peel vegetables with the paring knives, slice neat cubes of ciabatta and create clean slices of sourdough with the 8-inch serrated bread knife, and dice onions, chop veggies, and slice chicken with the versatile 8-inch chef’s knife.
This set is completed with a honing steel and heavy-duty kitchen shears for snipping fresh herbs, trimming poultry, and opening packages. Featuring an included bottle opener, you can twist open bottles, and crack walnuts with ease.
ZWILLING Pro boasts a unique curved bolster that acts as an extension of the hand, supporting the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The blade was designed with a broad curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the chopping motion Japanese knives were designed for. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip.
