Rated 5 out of 5 by from A beautiful and convenient way to store those most-used knives(all sizes) and keep them at close reach, by your prep area. This 16-slot has space for shears - to cut herbs - and also for a honing steel. And if you have steak knives you love, then those will fit in the bottom section. This lighter Birchwood lends itself great to a newer modern kitchen, but depends only on what you love. If you prefer a darker wood, Zwilling has those too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and big block I like buying knives separately instead of a block set, but I still wanted to store all my knives in a block, so this was the perfect block for it. I really like that it has a slot for my vegetable cleaver, not all blocks have a slot big enough for that. Stores all my knives well and is built with solid Birchwood, so as to not crack over time, and the wood grain looks great on any counter top.

We bought them a healthy set of knives at the Zwilling Henckels store in Berlin and there were no Zwilling knife blocks available of this size. It's perfect for their knife collection now. All we have to do is figure out how to get it to them. (UPS wanted $300, the USPS almost $100.)
