Rated 5 out of 5 by Maureen A from Purchasing a four pack of steak knives. These are the best knives I’ve ever had. I purchased the 15 pc Twin Gourmet knife set a few years ago with a knife sharpener included. The knives are always sharp and will probably last for many years. I never put them in my dish washer though; I prefer to wash them by hand. I ordered recently, a four pack of the steak knives because I needed to replace one of my knives which was lost after a holiday dinner. I emailed Zwilling for a replacement and was given a link to purchase a four pack. Which I was happy to get since its possible to lose a steal knife in the future!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Miad from High Quality I used these knives while at someone’s house and noticed I could use this steak knife to cut almost anything. They are very strong and sturdy. Of course I decided to buy these for myself as my first set of steak knives. I’m happy to still be able to find good quality products out there as they are not as easy to come buy now—lots of other knife reviews for other brands claim rust issues!! Won’t have to worry about that with these.

Made with quality to last several lifetimes. I do wish the center rivets were laser inscribed with their Zwilling logo as stated on the package, but acceptable to me even though they are not. They did ship quickly, and we're securely packaged.

They are very well made, nicely balanced and as sharp as you'd expect from Zwilling. I found it odd that the packaging said "MADE IN GERMANY", but the blade was stamped with "MADE IN SPAIN". Doesn't matter to me--these could not have been made better. This item page also says "MADE IN SPAIN" so I assume it was older-style packaging. If you need a good set of steak knives you can rely on? Get these. No regrets.

These knives were a gift to my mom for Mother's Day to replace an Oneida set that was approximately 15 years old, and she felt it appropriate for me to make a steak dinner to break them in. They worked wonderfully and were shockingly lightweight! I have some minor concerns that the handles aren't as good of a quality as her previous set, but all were sturdy (as to be expected for first use). The blade appears to be up to par with what I expect from the brand. I hope she gets many solid years out of these knives!

I purchased 2 more sets to use for larger gatherings. Fine sharp serrated on the front end with a sharp blade after that to the butt of the knife.

However, Zwilling's cusomer service needs to be improved. I ordered a different set of knives, but I never received it and was never notified that no inventory was available and was order was going to be cancelled. I ordered this set and it took four weeks to arrive. I received an email after a few days that it was delayed and that they were going to rush it.The product came three weeks after this and I never received any other emails on the status of the product. I had to call customer service 3 times, waiting as long as 45 minutes to speak to an agent. The option for call back is offered, but does not work. In the future, if I need products from Zwilling again, I'll probably try a retailer first.

Are these 4-pc twin gourmet steak knives dishwasher safe?

I have washed mine in the dishwasher for many years without any problems. But yesterday, I dropped one of my knives into the pan below the dish basket and the plastic handle rested on the heating element, and that's why I'm on the Zwilling site today looking for a replacement knife.
