ZWILLING TWIN Signature 2.75-inch Bird's Beak Peeling Knife is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 67.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hard to find blade I've been searching high and low for this knife that I know as a tournee knife. It is best used for peeling root vegetables in a long oblong seven sided football! Aside from the aesthetic element, the classic French technique helps vegetables like carrots, turnips and potatoes cook evenly. The blade easily lends itself to hulling strawberries, and is a true extension of the hand. The one piece construction makes it durable and the fact that it is light weight helps ward off hand fatigue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peller, paring & boning! This Zwilling Twin Signature bird's beak peeler can also be used for paring, peeling fruit and a small kitchen tool boning knife too. The sturdy blade provides the right balance, controlled by the thumb and index finger, for less fatigue. This is a single piece stamped blade of solid steel. I have never thought how versatile this knife can be other than for peeling and paring knife, up until I learned more about it. This bird's beak peeler knife can do more than it looks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great peeler This is such an amazing paring knife. The handle on this knife fits in my hand really nicely, giving me extra comfort in griping my knife while I peel and slice produce. I love the shape of this paring knife, it is perfect for getting the perfect peel off of potatoes, fruit. With the high carbon stainless steel being ice hardened, it helps make this stamped knife more durable and sharper, making this a more premium stamped blade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sure you can peel with your normal paring knife but you can do so much more with a bird's beak peeler! In addition to peeling I use it for removing blemishes from fruits and vegetable, removing strawberry stems, slicing soft fruits like peaches or plums and even for trying my hand at decorative garnishes. I love the feel of my Twin signature knives because they are light weight with a really comfortable handle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for peeling Used it for peeling some tomatoes, potatoes, and a sunburned back. Worked like a charm and even helped remove a pesky mole I’ve had on my back since birth. Dimensions of the knife felt great in my hand, very well-balanced. It also came out of the box extremely sharp, which was a bonus. I’ll update and let you know how it goes, peeling my toenails next.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent edge! This very well could be one of the best paring knifes I’ve ever used! It fits comfortably in your hand and glides through a potato like butter. I am a chef so I know a good knife when I handle one. I also peeled a yam which made it a breeze! Check out my pic on the right I also have the 4” paring and the magnet strip!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Twin Signature knives are made from German Special Formula Steel, also forged from one piece of stamped steel so super durable. I love using this birds beak paring to make decorative vegetables, working on mastering a cucumber flower right now. Its fits perfectly into your hand so that you have great control.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent feel. This bird's beak paring knife is one my favorites. It is awesome for peeling, but where it shines is for coring. I use it to core strawberries, tomatoes and sweet peppers. I love it for cauliflower and cabbage. This knife is sturdy enough to stand up to those dense vegetables. Also great for taking Brussels sprouts off the stock and cleaning artichokes. Its an old world design made of our new world of vegetables. I really like the Signature line of stamped knives because they are made in Germany from one of Zwilling's top quality steels. The craftsmanship and precision with which they are made gives me confidence that I will be able to enjoy them for years to come. Lighter than forged knives, this line is very popular. The sculpted handles fold into the palm of most people’s hands comfortably. The steel is strong, stable and holds an edge well. They can be and should be sharpened regularly. I recommend hand washing so they always look like new; but they are dishwasher safe.
