Sweet Rice Crispy Easter Snack

INGREDIENTS

  • 80 grams of white chocolate
  • 120g marshmallows
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
  • 200 g rice crispies/puffed rice (or oats)
  • 300 g coloured couverture
  • different coloured sprinkles
  • Aside from that:
  • Easter cookie cutter
  • Lollipops or wooden sticks
  • Baking tray, dimensions: approx. 16 x 24 cm
  • some vegetable oil

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Melt the marshmallows with the white chocolate over a water bath. Stir the mixture until everything connects.
  2. Add the rice crispies or puffed rice together with the vanilla powder and mix well.
  3. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread the rice krispies mixture on top. Place a baking paper over it andspread everything evenly with the help of a nude lholz.
  4. Brush the Easter cutters with vegetable oil and cut out the desired shapes from the mixture with them.
  5. Pierce the lollipop stems into the cut-out molds and let everything harden. (Hint: Tunke the lollipop stems beforehand in melted chocolate, so they keep better in the rice krispies mass).
  6. Finally, dip the Easter rice crispies in different colored melted chocolate and decorate them with crumbles, etc. as desired.
