Marinated fruit on a skewer

INGREDIENTS
- 2 bananas
- 2 oranges
- 1 pineapple
- 1/2 baguette
- 4 tbsp rum
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup melted butter
HOW TO MAKE IT
- First, preheat the barbecue to 356°F.
- Peel the fruit.
- Remove the stalk from the pineapple and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Cut the oranges into eighths and the bananas into 6 slices. Transfer the chopped fruit to a bowl.
- Mix the rum and 2 tbsp of the sugar, cover the fruit and marinade for at least 15 minutes.
- Cut the baguette into 12 slices and brush with the melted butter. Turn in the remaining sugar.
- Thread bread and marinated fruit alternately onto the skewers.
- Cook on the barbecue until lightly browned. Serve immediately.
