Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great price BUT I purchased two of these knives with "visual imperfections". One knife visually was fine the second one had been slightly overheated during grinding process leaving browning in places. Nothing to severe or enough to be worried about the temper of the blade. However neither knife had a finished sharpening, large burr rolled over in sections of the blades. Also the spine had a sharp burr running the length of it that required removing. In the condition received the knives would not have been useable they required considerable effort to put a proper edge on and deburr. For the price they were still a good deal but don't think you are going to use them out of the box.

I don't understand this "visual imperfections" disclaimer. Would it be the handle the blade the logo..?

As far as I can tell there are no significant imperfections. The only thing I can notice is that the Logo lettering on the blade is not perfect, with a couple of letters missing little bits. This lettering tends to wear off with time (cleaning) anyway. No big deal.
