Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive set This is the third brand of knifes I have been using (the two other ones were from a different brand) and even if they are not a set in the four figure numbers, I was impressed, forged with full tang, a must for me, well balanced with a good grip and very sharp. Just loved the eight inch carving and santoku knives, this was a another must for me since I just hate it when these are five inches. The steak knives are slim with a nice touch, there are eight of them so perfect for a big family or when friends are over. Scissors are heavy and sturdy both halves separate for easy cleaning witch is another nice touch. It says dishwasher safe but I would not recommend this, one of the other brand also advertised this and with time they ended up with stains on them. Best to wash them by hand and protect the investment. A little bonus is that nice fork that's included. All in all, nice complete 18 set block that should satisfy your needs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good knives, PATHETIC sharpener The knives themselves are quite nice, but i take away 1 star for the sharpener and 1 star for the service... After less than a year of light use, the metal part just fell off the handle. It is not surprising since it was only 1 cm inside of the handle... Absolutely shameful that Zwilling would sell something that shoddy in quality, and after 3 back and forth emails, I need to pay to send it back and can only expect a repair or a replacement of the same badly designed model...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing Set of Knives I bought this set of Henckels Forged Classic Precision knives to replace an older set of Henckels that I've had for the past decade. It has been a huge improvement. Handles are ergonomic and very comfortable. Great selection of knives are included in the set and the stainless steel detachable shears are excellent. I only wish that a serrated utility knife was included but I guess I can look to buy that separately. I look forward to using these knives for years to come

What angle do I sharpen these knife at? Is it 15 degrees or 20 degrees ?

15 Degrees on each side except the Asain knives (Santoku’s) they are 10 Degrees on each side.
