Excellent Value
This knife set is an outstanding value. We needed to replace a very old set of knives, and this set has the features and styling we wanted. With such a wide array of knives, it is always easy to pick out the best knife for each kind of cutting/chopping need in the kitchen. There are even labels on the block to indicate which knife is stored in each position. The stainless steel look of the handles goes well in our kitchen. We haven't had the knives long enough to know how well the self-sharpening feature works, but it probably helps some at least. All in all, this set has everything you could want in a knife set at an outstanding price.

Awesome set! Even better when it’s on sale!!!
I bought this knife set for it’s knife sharpening block feature. I love the many different types of knives which are included, even though I’m not much of a chef and don’t entirely know which ones are best to use for what yet.
I’ve tested a few out and they are very sharp. The handles have a good weight to them and gives me steady control while cutting. They also aren’t too heavy so it’ll be good if your wrists get fatigued from cutting.
I’ve read some reviews that they might rust, so I’m going to be super cautious to dry them immediately after washing them.
The knives and block set look great on our kitchen counter. I wished that the wood grain was a darker stain to match our cupboards. I got them at Costco when they went on sale so it’s a great value of a purchase.
Here’s hoping they last a long time!

Deceiving!
I bought the set of knives at Costco. The set of knives looked nice and modern but when I opened the box, the wood block is already cracked. Also, some of the knives are already rusting! See pictures.
Unfortunately, I passed the deadline for the return policy of Costco... Will definitely submit a claim with Henckels.
Definitely disappointing as I thought Henckel was a reliable brand but it seems not...
Not recommended.

beautiful clean looking knife set
I was on the hunt for a well rounded set of knives. I love cooking and didn't want a standard 6 piece set. I wanted a full range that also looked really nice and not standard black. This amazing 20 piece set has all the knives I wanted in a handy self sharpening block. If there were any flaws it is just that the block holder is very long and fits awkwardly on the counter. I wish they had cut off the back tapered part of the block so it can sit in tighter on the counter. Other than that, these beautiful knives are awesome.

So far so good!
I received this set as a gift (purchased from Costco)
The price was very reasonable for the size of the set and all the knives included.
I have only used it for a couple days, but the knives feel great in my hand, are quite sharp and look stylish on my counter.
The one drawback is the block itself is quite long so takes up a lot of space on the counter and must be pushed way back so that my toddler can’t reach the lower row of knives.
