INGREDIENTS
- ¼ untreated lime
- ¼ container of garden or shiso cress
- 2 ¾ oz baby spinach
- 3 cm ginger
- ¼ celery stalk
- ¼ cucumber
- 1 small kiwi
- ¼ Granny Smith apple
- ¾ cups flat water
Preparation
Wash the lime in hot water, dry it, grate the peel, and squeeze the juice. Remove the cress leaves with scissors and place these ready. Wash the spinach and spin dry. Peel the ginger. Wash the celery and cut into pieces. Trim and wash the cucumber and cut into pieces. Peel and coarsely chop the kiwi. Wash and quarter the apple; remove the core if desired and roughly chop.
Add the ingredients to the blender jar in the following order: apple, cucumber, spinach, celery, kiwi, lime zest and juice, cress, ginger, water. Close the blender jar with the lid.
Blend on the Smoothie program. Once the program has finished, remove the lid and serve the smoothie in glasses. Enjoy immediately.
Tip
This detox smoothie serves as a basis. Its flavour can be diversely varied by swapping its ingredients for other types of fruit and vegetables.
