Mango Turmeric Lassi
This yoghurt drink originally comes from India and can be prepared to be sweet or salty. It is often served with spicy dishes because its fat content reduces the spiciness.

INGREDIENTS
For the Lassi
- 500 g mango
- 15 g ginger
- 8 g turmeric root
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 tbsp. agave nectar
- 400 g natural yoghurt
- 600 ml ice cold mineral water
For the decoration
- 6 mint tips
Preparation
- Weigh and measure all the ingredients, prepare them and place them ready.
- Peel the mango, remove the flesh from the core and chop coarsely. Peel the ginger and turmeric root.
- Add the ingredients to the blender jar in the following order: mango, ginger, turmeric, lemon juice, Agave nectar, yoghurt, mineral water. Close the blender jar with the lid.
- Select the Smoothie setting and press the button to run the program. Or blend manually to achieve the desired consistency.
- Once the program has finished, remove the lid and serve the Lassi in glasses. Decorate with mint tips and enjoy immediately.
Tip
Lassi can be varied as desired with all kinds of other fruit.
