INGREDIENTS

  • 400 g cucumber
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • Chili flakes, to taste
  • 1 bunch chives, to taste
  • Salt and sugar, to taste
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  •  

    HOW TO MAKE IT

    Step 1/4

    Wash the cucumber, halve lengthwise, and remove the seeds with a spoon. Slice the cucumber. Peel and finely chop the garlic.

    Step 2/4

    Mix the cucumber slices together with the garlic, salt, sugar, sesame oil, and chili flakes if desired. Vacuum in a suitable FRESH & SAVE vacuum bag with marinating aid. Marinate in the fridge for approx. 1 hour.

    Step 3/4

    At the end of the marinating time, drain off the liquid, but collect it. Wash the chives, shake dry, cut into thin rolls, and mix into the cucumbers. Season the cucumber salad with salt, sugar, sesame oil and, if desired, marinade liquid and serve.

    Step 4/4

    Goes well with salmon.

    Tip

    Coriander or mint can also be used instead of chives.
