Description
ZWILLING Dragon combines Chinese culture stretching back over 5000 years with modern design and traditional craftsmanship. All knives in the series are made from one piece of stainless special recipe steel with a fine Pakka wood handle. The highlight is that each knife bears a poem by a Chinese well-known poet, litterateur or philosopher, each representing one of the seven major Chinese dynasties. Every detail of each knife is finely polished, reflecting the Chinese craftsmanship spirit.
- Ultra-durable Titanium-based PVD nano coating on each blade is enhanced in an elegant black colour
- Laser marked calligraphic of the dynasty name on the blade by famous calligrapher at that time, each accompanied with poems by well known poets of that time.

Nice Design. Poor Material. No Warranty.
I bought a Dragon Chinese Chef's Knife online 3 months ago, and have found it to be a beautiful knife, with well performing steel. Sadly, after such a short period of time, and with meticulous care (washing immediately with mild detergent, drying immediately and thoroughly before storage), the handle split along the spine of the knife as pictured, and very likely along a glue seam for the handle. Zwilling Warranty refused any support saying warranty does not apply to any wood parts. Be warned buying anything made of wood by Zwilling, especially their higher end Miyabi knives, as there is no after purchase support available.

You should know that it is not dishwasher safe
Don’t put in the dishwasher if there is wood handle on it, like exactly what the other idiot did.
