No replacement carafe/parts available
Although this coffee maker makes great coffee the minimilist design means that the carafe can easily be bumped off the machine base. Happened to me, contacted Zwilling only to be told they don't sell replacement parts. No 3rd party sellers have replacement parts either. Therefore I cannot recommend this product for the cost of the machine.
I'm also disappointed that the warming plate only stays on for 30 minutes and the timer resets after every use. I bought a Ninja as a replacement and it stays warm for up to 4 hours and the timer does not reset.

Can’t keep hot
First this is a very lovely design. The materials are somewhat cheap in feel, but look high end. I love the receded glass water reservoir, 12 cup capacity, crafe handle and shape, BUT, I am beyond frustrated that the seperate hot plate, as it is referred to, can not be controlled. It stays on only for a certain period of time, then turns off. Very challenging if family members are up hours apart from one another. Yes, coffee doesn’t taste as good if kept on heat too long, but that should be the consumer choice, just the the brand of coffee used, etc. Sadly we will have to return it.

The coffee machine makes OK coffee, but not sure it's worth the premium price. The reason for the 1 star review is I set everything up to make a pot of coffee and it defaults to clean mode, which is a nice reminder, but it won't let me change the mode to make normal coffee and then clean it when I'm not rushing in the morning to get to work. The machine won't let me change settings so I guess I'm picking up coffee on my way to work.... I run clean mode when later that day and the machine turns off a couple minutes into the cycle and won't turn back on now. Not sure if this machine is just defective or I'm doing something wrong. I think you can get a more reliable and as good tasting machine for less.

Sleek look, great taste
Love this coffee maker. Only bought it because it was the ONLY coffee maker at the store that was short enough to fit under our cupboards and I’m very pleased with the purchase. Definitely pricier than what I had wanted but I’ve been searching for a long time for something that fit and is pleasing to the eye. Biggest complaint is that the pot heating plate only stays on for maybe an hour or less. So if you’re making a pot to have multiple cups over the morning you’ll likely end up having to heat up your coffee in the microwave (specially for us moms with littles). If I didn’t have a height constraint I likely wouldn’t have purchased this product based on the heating plate duration and price. Other than that I love this product.

Form over function
Like others have said, the lack of replacement carafes makes this coffee maker impossible to recommend. The 30 min adjustable warmer plate might be a deal-breaker as well but I get that this product is geared at people who turn their nose up at drinking coffee more than 7 minutes old. There are other machines out there for you peasants. This is for people who value apple aesthetics over having a user friendly display. Or people who value having one knob perform 7 completely different functions because single presses are so last summer.
But it sure does look handsome sitting on my faux granite countertop.

Not thoughtfully designed at all!
I have waited for 2 years now for a replacement carafe to be offered but no, instead of Zwilling addressing this issue and offering a replacement they have now come out with a new coffee machine that has a stainless steel carafe. So for all of us who will eventually need a replacement carafe oh well too bad says Zwilliing, just fork over another $200 + dollars and throw your perfectly operating coffee machine in the garbage. Honestly I am not even asking for a free carafe, I will pay for it but now I have a functioning coffee machine that is gathering dust all because of no carafe. Very disappointed with Zwilling for this thoughtless design. Seriously run away from this coffee machine, no matter how good the sale is.

Underperforming and horrible output
I'm deeply disappointed with the Zwilling coffee maker. With over 20 years of loyalty to the brand, I can no longer recommend Zwilling. Unlike my experiences with products like the Ninja Coffee Maker, which delivers richly flavored coffee, the Zwilling model consistently produces burnt and unpleasant coffee. Additionally, it lacks the user-friendly features and robust return policy that I appreciate in Ninja products.
The machine is confusing to operate, doesn't justify its price tag with its performance, and the customer service has been unsatisfactory in addressing my concerns. Buyer beware, this product may not meet the expectations set by its competitors or its price.

The coffee tastes good, but the machine has flaws.
Bought this to upgrade from a rather plain looking Wirecutter favourite. Looks great on the counter, and makes lovely coffee. However I usually make 5 cups, which equals 2 big mugs. To enjoy the second mug, I either have to use a vacuum carafe, or heat it up in the microwave because the warmer plate shuts off too soon. The lid on the pot gets stuck on the spring valve, and I’m afraid something will break. I make only 5 cups once a day and the water is not hard, but even on the softer water setting, the machine ‘demands’ to be cleaned too often. I can’t figure out how to bypass the clean cycle, so no coffee that day. Would buy a stainless carafe, but no parts available. Probably shouldn’t have purchased an appliance from a knife and pot company.

The carafe broke after only a few uses. Is there anyway to order a replacement? If so, how?
I just contacted their customer support to order a replacement carafe and their answer was that it is NOT possible. This is very disappointing for the price paid. It also creates electronic waste, which is not a good look for a brand like Zwilling. I am shocked and very disappointed by such lousy service and I don't think that I will be buying from Zwilling anymore. I bought a toaster from them and it doesn't even grill in the middle. Their service told me to return my toaster for inspection. Not sure what I'm supposed to grill my toast while it gets shipped somewhere for ''inspection'', then what? Lousy and disappointing for a brand that is supposed to be higher-end. Clearly, their support doesn't match this.
