Description
The ZWILLING Kettle Pro features 6 pre-set program settings on the 360° docking base so you can choose your temperature with just one touch, making it perfect for brewing coffee, different varieties of tea, and warming baby bottles. The heat-insulated double-walled body inside the 1850-watt kettle keeps water hot, longer, while the outside remains comfortably cool to the touch. The seamless, 1.5L. stainless steel container with concealed heating elements makes this kettle both durable and hygienic. It is extremely easy to clean and the built-in limescale filter - also partially made with stainless steel - ensures better flavor. The snug-fit filter also seals the spout when the lid is closed, thereby keeping spillage to an absolute minimum even when the kettle is accidentally knocked. The lid opens to a maximum of 70 degrees to prevent direct contact with hot steam. An additional safety feature is the built-in dry boil and overheating protection that automatically switches off the kettle to prevent damage to the heating element. Removing the kettle from the docking station also automatically switches it off. The docking base boasts a hidden display when powered off for a clean, minimal design that keeps your countertop looking as sleek as the appliances on it.

Defective item - return problems
My husband bought me this kettle a few weeks ago. When I opened the kettle the morning after it arrived, I noticed a small rust patch inside. I have been trying to contact Zwilling in order to return this item for the past week, but - despite calling them and leaving numerous messages as well as sending them emails - I have not yet received any response. Before purchasing this item, I read a review from a customer who - like me - noticed a rust patch in their kettle soon after purchasing it. I wish I hadn't dismissed this review. Clearly it is a mistake to assume that paying this price for a kettle will ensure either a high quality product or acceptable customer service.

Sleek design; power button is an issue
The design is sleek and pleasing, and it is cool to the touch even when the liquid inside is hot.
The only negative - significant - is the power button. I have to press down very firmly and wiggle my finger back and forth repeatedly to turn it on. Not an issue now that I know, but someone unfamiliar with it (other family members) would assume it doesn't work.
I contacted Zwilling the day I received it as I assumed it was a defect. They asked me to send a video, which I did, but then the follow up was a request to ship it back to them with a potential 6-8 week delay to receive a new product. Too much hassle, and from other reviews it appears this power button issue is a design flaw with the product.

Looks sleek but UX feels lacking
I would appreciate Celsius markings. I'm disappointed after seeing them in video advertising (UK model?)
The kettle is 1500W not 1850W as listed on the Zwilling online storefront but it heats quickly.
It's a bit annoying to press and hold the wake button to then select temperature. I would prefer one touch operation or perhaps have attaching the kettle to the base wake the base automatically.
Quite loud snap when closing the lid
The matte black styling was my main driver to buy this kettle. I wish the lid, handle and base also had matte black accents rather than gloss black.

Super disappointing
I have only had this kettle for a few months and it has rust marks on the inside. It also seems like the sensor for the water temperature is not that great because it'll keep boiling for a while before it beeps and it'll sputter when I pour into the mug from around the spout, I've burned my hands a couple of times from this. Over all not worth the price at alll and I am super disappointed in the quality of the kettle. It does not live up to the zwilling name at all.

Rusted after on week use!
I've got the item and used it so gently. Emptied the water after each use BUT it got rust inside the kettle after only one week.

Disappointed with quality from
The lid rusted after 2 months
The lid has developed rust in multiple spots after 2 months of gentle use. I did dry the lid and container after each use. Very disappointed!

Quiet, efficient, and pretty on my counter
This kettle is a step up from my last kettle, which was incredibly loud. The double-walled construction also means that water cools down more slowly and the outside stays fairly cool. The buttons are a bit of a learning curve and the selected program is indicated by being just a little bit brighter than the other buttons, so it's not incredibly obvious. I also wish that the temperatures were in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit, but I knew that before buying. I hadn't realized that there is no water level indicator prior to purchase, so if it's important to you, keep that in mind.

The kettle starts rusting inside after 3 months
I bought this Enfinigy Electric Kettle Pro in Nov 2021 & started using it just before Xmas. I just noticed it started rusting inside at the bottom. Very disappointed with the quality! Will it cover under the warranty?
