Food has never gone bad so quickly
Zwilling is my go to for everything kitchen related, thanks to its high quality and sleek design, so it saddens me how incredibly disappointed I was with this purchase. I cleaned out my fridge, prepared all of my vegetables and separated them all into their own vacuum sealed bags. 2 days later, there was a horrendous stench coming from my fridge from my broccoli in one of the Zwilling bags. I thought the whole point of vacuum sealing was to seal in freshness, but it did the complete opposite to my broccoli. It still looked and felt fine, but the smell and the taste was unbearable. I've never had this problem with Ziploc bags, and I guess that's what I'll have to stick with from now on.

It works
Pros - vacuum device works well, glass containers are well made, plastic bags can be reused which is good.
Cons - vacuum bags ripped after using for sous vide about 4 times, also the product included a card saying they would send a free gift (vacuum wine sealer) if I registered the product, after the registration link didn't work they sent me a new one which required me to write this review before getting the free product.
Overall the product is good, score is deducted from the vacuum bags breaking and because I have to write this review to get the free product.

Kitchen Essential - Compact and powerful
I've had the Zwillings Fresh & Save Starter Kit for a few weeks now and I'm beyond impressed. It's extended the life of my food and saved me money. The vacuum sealer is fast and strong, literally sealing the bags/glass containers in seconds. Unlike the bulky, heavy food savers I've used in the past, this is light and compact, making it super easy to store in a small drawer. I use the kit weekly for food prep (marinating meat, storing my chopped fruits and vegetables) and I also love storing my cheeses in the bags keeping them free from mold. I highly recommend this kitchen essential!

One of the best kitchen gadgets I own!
Where do I begin! The Zwilling Fresh + Save is such a handy little tool! I absolutely love it and would 100% recommend it to family + friends. It keeps all my food fresh, and it makes marinating a breeze! I also love that it's small + compact, and hardly takes up space in my kitchen. The app is also a nice bonus - I love how it reminds me before the food is about to expire. It has really helped with food organization + I've noticed a huge decrease in food waste! I will definitely be buying more bags + containers! Thank you Zwilling for creating such a fantastic product!

Easy and Handy
The starter set includes two large bags, two small bags , a medium and a large container as well as the pump. Easy to start with, the pump is quite handy easy to store in just a drawer along with my other plastic wraps. I also bought extra bags for my own use. So far I am loving this product. The only thing is that the glass containers can be A little too heavy when washing and need to watch out for any liquids if you are sealing in bags, need to use the liquid protection cap, or the liquids can get sucked out through the valve and could damage the pump.

Poor seal for liquids in bags- vacuum now broke
I just bought this entire package as well, ordered several additional glass containers and another 10 bags. The problem now is none can be used because the vacuum doesn’t work when you add liquids to have a marinade, the plastic cap sealer was installed as instructed but it got into the vacuum. I am very disappointed considering I an a chef and relied on your companies quality. Not anymore. Very angry over this.

Almost there
I received the order set vacuum starter from Hudson Bay. Again, Zwilling unfortunately misrepresented the product - bags. I had same issue with my Amazon order for a bigger size bags. The issue is that the picture is showing black stripes at the top of the bag when in reality it’s clear. I read ppl complaining about this issue and that black plastic at the top was more durable. Very disappointed to get a misrepresented product. This is why I gave 4 stars. Otherwise, as always, the other part of the set Of Zwillings’ products is 5 stars.

Game changer
At first I was skeptical in trying this out as ziplogs have been my go to for all these years (if it ain't broke don't fix it am'right?). But after trying this out on strawberries in the fridge I was converted (sorry ziplogs, my plastic waste days are gone). The best part is making my own popcorn chicken and having them on hand for game day snacks or as a base ingredient for a quick dinner. What are you wasting your time reading the rest of my review for? Try it out yourself, worse thing that can happen is you get a refund right?
