Hot chestnuts

Ingredients
- 500 g chestnuts
- approx. 150 ml water
Preparation
Put the chestnuts in a bowl, cover with plenty of cold water and soak for about 1 hour. Then let it drain and score the bulbous side in a cross shape with a small, sharp knife.
Approx. Add 150 ml of water to the ZWILLING hot air fryer and insert the grid. Spread the chestnuts on top and bake at 180 °C for about 20-25 minutes until the shells burst open.
Then remove, let cool slightly, peel and enjoy immediately warm.
Tip
Chestnuts are usually available from the beginning of September in well-stocked supermarkets or greengrocers.
