Meal prep made easy with the large Vacuum Bag: versatile size for daily use.
The large Vacuum Bag from the FRESH & SAVE vacuum storage system has a capacity of 8.5 litres. Like all the other bags in the set, it is reusable, microwave safe, freezer proof and, thanks to its heat resistance up to 100°C, perfect for sous vide cooking. This makes it the perfect accessory. Use your freezer like a fresh market stall and freeze seasonal vegetables, bread, poultry and meat.
Using the vacuum bag is child’s play: Open the zipper of the bag, fill it with the food you want to freeze, close and dock the handy cordless vacuum pump (sold separately: item 36801-000-0) onto the valve. At the press of a button, it extracts the air from the bags in just seconds. The only thing left to do is press the push button in the middle of the red silicone valve to seal it securely.
The vacuum bags can be used as dump bags for your prepped slow-cooking ingredients. Whether you're chopping vegetables to freeze or searing meat portions ready for the slow cooker, they are ideal for batch cooking advance preparation. Aromas and vitamins are safely preserved and food stays fresh up to five times longer! Freezer burn doesn’t stand a chance!
Link your food to the ZWILLING App to make sure you don’t lose the overview of stored food, and so you know precisely what you have at home the next time you go shopping: Simply scan the QR code on the bags and track your stored food. The reminder function of the free app informs you when a particular food needs to be prepared. It’s impossible to mix up the same type of frozen food, thanks to the individual ID on every bag.
