Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a glass lid as part of the standard package. However, you can purchase a separate glass lid designed to fit Staub cocottes, allowing you to monitor your cooking without lifting the lid. For the 7qt Cocotte, the glass lid that fits this size is the 11-inch Glass Domed Lid, which is sold separately. Bar Keepers Friend is generally safe for cleaning enameled cookware, but we recommend using it with caution. Be sure to follow the directions on the label and apply it with a soft sponge or cloth to avoid damaging the enamel. For an alternative option, you can also try soaking the cocotte in a mixture of warm water and baking soda for a few hours before scrubbing with a non-abrasive sponge.
