After about a month of using them I noticed that some of the spoons were turning brown. I cleaned them with baking soda and it came off. However after some time more and more of the silverware was turning brown. I’ve had them for 4 months now and can say-they are a pain to maintain and keep shiny.i keep them in a dry place and wash very good every time ,so not sure what the problem is. The one thing I do like about them is how simple and classy the design is. Would not recommend this silverware set to a friend, and disappointed at the quality for not so cheap silverware set.

My boyfriends exact words were “I really love their shape”. Lol But as soon as we used them we realized there weren’t designed that way but for looks. They are basically ergonomically perfect they fit, feel and weigh just right and for me being left handed I sometimes hold things differently and knives are the worst but these are the best butter knives I ever used! My boyfriend being a righty says the same thing as well of course. They are high quality and timelessly designed and I know they will last us a very, very long time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Unsatisfied from Water spots and finger prints We received this flatware as a wedding present and after a few weeks of using it we are truly disappointed with it. If washing by hand you have to dry it immediately or it shows every water spot. When putting the flatware away fingerprints stay smudged on the surface. The knife, while comfortable to hold does not balance on the plate and must be put blade side down on the table. The company suggested cleaning it with bar keepers friend but the thought of having clean each piece individually every single time is not realistic. Can't imagine what they'll look like when there's kids eating off of them. I tried to exchange them but the company is unwilling to exchange because they've been used.

I am absolutely positively madly in LOVE! this is the most beautiful set of flatware I think I have ever had in my entire 73 years. They have got excellent weight to them. They are absolutely gorgeous and the knives are so unique, as well as being so ergonomically correct. You most definitely would not go wrong in selecting this set of flatware. I do believe the only change that I would have made to this set would have been to add a slotted Serving Spoon and a gravy ladle other than that it is absolutely perfect in every way. Kudos to this company and their design team they know what they're doing!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Edoggy from Ergonomic, efficient, and elegant The unique, more hygienic way in which the knives sit perpendicular to whatever surface upon which they are laid was the selling point for me, but I've also found them to be very comfortable and secure when using a classic European dinner knife grip, which places the flat end securely against your palm and your forefinger directly over the blade. All the pieces are nicely polished and wash well. I have seen no rust issues whatsoever in a month of use; I imagine those who do could easily take care of them with a little Barkeeper's Friend.

They do not feel like they would bend easy at all. They look like good quality flatware. I was a little worried about the shape of the knife but once they got here you really don’t notice it. It actually feels like it’s easier to hold. I picked this it because it had a lot of good reviews and I’m glad I did. I would recommend this to anyone

Love the look and durability, though of course they have gotten scratched over the years with regular dishwasher use. The one problem is the knives; as stunning as they are, as great as the handles are, they tend to slide right off the plate when you’re clearing the table. We just joke about them now but they always seem to end up on the floor; the weighted design is much like those weighted birds (kids toy) from years ago. Problem is they tip when unbalanced. Other than that great set. Do wish it came with the slotted spoon.

The 23-pc polished set includes four of each; dinner fork, dinner spoon, dinner knife, salad fork and teaspoon and a 3-pc hostess set, consisting of a serving spoon, serving fork and butter knife. Bellasera Satin is only available in the 45-pc set.

The info states the flatware is dishwasher safe, I hesitate buying with the pitting and rusting issues mentioned. Our water is softened and I worry that salt will exacerbate the issue. Do you know if your flatware will stand up to softened water?

Our flatware is made of 18/10 stainless steel, so it has added chromium and nickel for corrosion-resistance. With proper use and care, hard or soft water should not contribute to premature wear and tear. Pitting and rusting are not common and are often covered by warranty as long as maintenance guidelines have been followed. This style is dishwasher safe, but, to preserve the beauty and prolong the lifespan of your flatware, we recommend hand washing. If you have to use the dishwasher, we suggest removing the flatware immediately after the wash is complete and thoroughly drying it before storage.

This style is polished/shiny. The Bellasera Satin style (https://www.zwilling.com/us/zwilling-bellasera-satin-45-pc-flatware-set-satin/22769-345.html?ref=searchsuggestion) has a more matte finish but is only available in the 45-piece set (no open stock or spare place settings).
