Love the design; wish that it worked.
I will start out by saying that the design aesthetics of this are gorgeous. I had such high hopes, especially with the reputation of Zwilling behind it. Hower, the motor tends to spin without spinning the blades. They only catch if they are not encumbered by the frozen fruit you may be trying to blend. Which means preparing something as simple as a smoothie can be frustrating. You must use quite a bit of liquid for it to work. It also sounds like the motor is about to overheat by the time you get everything to the right consistency. I'm not sure if this is normal, but it is a far cry from the Vitamix I had previously.

Makes smoothies in seconds!
What’s wonderful about this product is that it pulverizes the seeds in the frozen add-in packets I add to smoothies. It takes about two cycles of about 46 seconds to totally blend together yogurt, milk, egg white powder, frozen berries, frozen fruit, and frozen açaí or dragon fruit packets. Seeds disappear. The ingredients blend together to make creamy, frozen goodness through and through. Best smoothies ever!
One thing, though: the handle gets gunk in it during the dishwashing, which is frequent, and it’s difficult or impossible to get out. But that is only cosmetic. Does not interfere with the brilliant blending this blender does!

Love the pre-programmed settings
This blender does it all and looks beautiful in the process. Unlike other bulky blenders this is one I don't mind leaving on my counter. The pre-programmed settings make things like smoothies a breeze...you just set and start and it goes through all the speeds to blend and crush to perfection. I'm actually making home made tomato soup as I write this...it comes out smooth and hot. I love the self cleaning feature and it even has a safety feature that the blender will not start unless the lid is on properly. All the bells and whistles at an amazing price.

This blender hangs with the best of the category. I purchased it for a second blender but it has quickly become the blender I grab first. The winglet blade has a special serrated edge and piranha teeth to puree anything. There are 6 programmed settings including a cleaning program. Although there is no soup program I make soup all the time in it - just put all the ingredients, raw, in the canister and run it for 5 min at level 12. I actually run it for 3 additional min to make it extra hot. Its is lower priced that all of the high end competitors and does a fantastic job.

It takes one super blade to do the work while other blenders have two.
Makes it a lot easier to get every last drop out of the blender.
I have made a super rich, silky and smooth chocolate mousse in this machine and it was impressive. No cream needed! The setting options are a good place to start and the manual is useful for finishing . the wave design of the blender bowl aids in the movement of the product. No need for vigorous shaking!!
Great addition to have a clean up setting! Easy breezy!!

This brand new Zwilling blender will give other blenders a run for their money. With so many speed and custom settings, this blender will easily tackle whatever you put in to the 64oz carafe with the innovative blade shapes that are made in Germany. It's quieter than most blenders while remaining super powerful, resulting in perfect smoothies, caramel frappaccinos or tomato bisque! The sleek design will look great on your counter and whether you use the self-clean option or not, this jar is so easy and safe to clean.

Powerful Performance
Discovering this powerful blender lives up to the Zwilling brand in both design and performance. The motor base is both sleek and secure with easy dial controls. Durable pitcher and cap have convenient measurements. Impressive how the preset programs power through ice, frozen fruit, and stalky greens for my daily smoothie. Variable speeds have turned out delicious purees in the form of creamy soups, sauces, hummus, and nut butters. Can't wait to trying additional recipes found on the Zwilling Culinary World app.

Zwilling/JA Henckels Quality In a Blender!
We have been looking for a high quality blender for a while, and selected this one over a Vitamix both because we were using reward points and had enough to select the Zwilling model, and because of the brand’s reputation. It is a slick unit that isn’t covered in buttons and is very easy to use. We make smoothies and this does an excellent job. Since we make frozen smoothies I found that if I use the ice crush program first, add the rest of the ingredients, and then use the frozen drink (instead of smoothie) program they turn out perfectly smooth with no ice chunks. Cleaning is a breeze with the cleaning program. I now make smoothies every day since it’s so easy. Great German engineered quality and looks great on the counter.

I’m wondering how to clean just the ARM of the blender. My husband accidentally put this in the dishwasher and small bits of dirt/food have gotten stuck through the little hole where the lid clicks in. I cannot find a way to clean it out.
There is no way to clean inside the tiny hole. If you wish we sell the Jars on our website.

Where is the Power Blender manufactured in? I know it says "Designed" in Italy "developed" with German engineering. But these are not helpful marketing terms. Just tell us where the machine is made in? And where in the product does it say this?
