Description

The Fresh & Save fridge container is designed to work with the vacuum pump to keep food fresh up to five times longer than non-vacuum storage. Made of sturdy borosilicate glass, this long, shallow, rectangular container is ideal for easy storage of casseroles and other baked meals in the refrigerator and freezer. It’s also handy for marinating meat. Designed for efficient stacking, it’s the ultimate space saver and organization helper. The fridge container is ovenproof (without lid) and doubles as a beautiful serving piece at the table. Store, bake, and serve in the same container.

With the Fresh & Save system, you can shop once a week and refrigerate or freeze fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, and fish in our vacuum containers and bags and enjoy the benefits of your own fresh market at home. Prepare your meals days in advance and enjoy them as fresh as the day they were cooked. Cook meat sous vide or marinate meat for the grill in just 30 minutes in the vacuum bags and containers.

Here’s how it works: Dock the vacuum pump onto the container or bag valve and at the push of a button it extracts the air in mere seconds. It stops automatically once a sufficient vacuum has been obtained, locking in flavor, aromas, and vitamins.

The food stays fresher for at least a week longer and even if something gets lost in the fridge for more than a couple weeks, it doesn't have that strong rotting smell. Food just goes bad WAAY slower. A couple of my tops stopped sealing though, but the WARRANTY is solid and after a quick phone call with Gina they sent me replacements free of charge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent storage and baking option. The durable glass can go in the freezer, frig., microwave or oven. With the resealable lid, the vacuum pump (sold separately) sucks out all of the air keeping food fresh 5x longer. Perfect for making dishes ahead and storing in the freezer. Lids are heat resistant and can go int the microwave if air has been released. Clean up is easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition to the Zwilling vacuum system. I really like the Zwilling vacuum system because of the glass containers, which nobody else offers. These are much like the others. Thick oven-proof glass and a vacuum lid that also goes into the microwave. The lid seals well, in spite of the large size and square shape. I've dinged them one star entirely because these are, I think, unnecessarily expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great container! The container is big enough for stews and not too tall with the cover is on so it can be stacked with other vaccuum glass containers in the fridge. The only thing that bugs me is the inside of the cover has the radiated groves that makes it hard to wash properly especially if the food stored was greasy. Overall the container and its cover is of good quality and it seals very well. Thanks.

I wanted a strong and durable container that holds a sizable amount and is easy to clean for storage and there are none better than this.
