The Fresh & Save La Mer vacuum pump is at the heart of the smart storage system by ZWILLING. Featuring a beautiful sea-inspired design, the sleek, quiet vacuum pump extracts the air out of our vacuum containers and bags in just seconds and preserves aromas and vitamins. It stops automatically once a sufficient vacuum has been created. The La Mer vacuum pump can be charged using the included USB cord.

The coolest most compact food saver around!!!
This product is unique as it is a handheld vacuum pump that when paired with these special bags or containers that you have made become the ultimate tool for food storage or prep that I have seen on the market. I have just started using it but can see almost limitless applications for this awesome little tool. I will be marinating with it, I will be keeping fresh the leftovers that were my fac I rite food but can never finish it all.before they go bad. Anyone who knows anything abiut food knows air is tge enemy. Well you guys definitely solved that problem with this new gadget that I will be using for as long as it will allow me too.

The Modern Pump Is the one!
My original pump died suddenly. The squarish form factor was just fine and it worked perfectly right up until it failed. I have a large number of the borosilicate containers. In fact, I have replaced all my old containers because vacuum sealing is a vastly superior way to keep food fresh and safe. I sent my original pump in for warranty replacement. This took forever. I estimate it took well over a month. There is no justification for such a slow response.
There was no way to track progress and I did not want to go without a replacement so I decided to buy a replacement. I saw the Modern was new so I bought it. It is much better than the original for three reasons. First, the cap pops off and on without having to align it. The original only goes back on one way and it is difficult to see the alignment marker. Second, the new pump is more powerful. There is an audible difference in the motor. Finally, the rubber cowl that fits over the container valve is deeper. This is important because you are less likely to suck up liquids by accident. I use this system every day.
If you have a choice get the Modern upgrade.

Great product, great customer service
Love this little machine and the products it seals, especially the glass containers. I did have one become water damaged and since I filled out the warranty and sent them a video of it not working, they shipped out a new one!

Super Handy
It's incredibly easy to use. Seal is pretty easy to make on containers and bags. Bags are kind of reusable, but hard to get clean.

Super easy way to have reusable bags/containers
I was trying out different types of reusable bags and containers for leftovers and have found this product to be the best for it! Not only are the bags easy to clean (and dishwasher safe) they can be vacuum sealed which makes your food stay fresher. I’ve loved the system and am shocked by the battery life of the sealer. It has lasted me weeks without needing a charge and I use it daily multiple times!

Convenient
Much more convenient than a countertop food saver machine. User friendly- didn’t take much figuring out! Easy to store in my kitchen drawer as well! Froze my soup a little in the bag before vacuuming to prevent liquid entering the machine, haven’t tried it without freezing a little first. Can’t wait to bring it with me to my parents house for Thanksgiving leftovers!

Great Buy!!!
Love this pump!!! I've used it for resealing wine bottles and it works great! We've just recently used it to marinate porkchops in the bags and to store and freeze chicken. The battery lasts a long time and it's easy to clean. I would recommend this to anyone who buys food in bulk or has a problem cooking to much food lol

Nice product
I accidentally got some liquid from some meat in the sealer when vacuuming the meat. I had to throw it away cause anytime I used it after that it smelled like something dead! I really liked the sealer and used it very much until the incident. Will look about purchasing another one though!

I have charged my pump but it no longer seems to work. When I first plug it in to charge, the light turns Red, then immediately turns green. I've tried multiple chargers but cannot get it to work again. Is there anything that you can suggest that I do?

can this be used with liquids like marinades or soups in bags? thanks btw, i still have Zwilling kitchen knives that my parents bought for our restaurant in Germany almost 60 years ago. i love the quality!
