Rated 1 out of 5 by Saskatoon from Not impressed We got the toaster through airmails and right out of the box it did not work - the elements would not heat up at all. We contacted airmiles who referred us to Zwilling for Warranty. After a few emails, Zwilling asked me to send a video to them showing them that it did not work, which I did. Then after no reply from Zwilling I sent a followup email to which they replied that I would have to ship the product back to them at my cost and that they would take 6-8 weeks to look at the toaster. This is a brand new toaster that does not work - it has not toasted even one slice of bread. I have sent a video to show that it does not work - why do I have to spend the money to send it back to them and then wait for 6-8 weeks without a toaster? Not Impressed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cmdrmat from Beautiful Chonky Toaster This toaster is a counter design element, it toasts just like other toasters, its features are that it toasts bread and bread like objects based on the duration selection knob. The element design/ quality control method does not leave uniform toasting colour; but the toast is sufficiently toasted as a whole. The soft end of cycle ejection is a very nice feature. Overall, this toaster was bought for looks, it toasts like most good toaster, but is on the hot side (pictures are Canadian white sandwich bread on darkness setting 2).

After having read about its quality and consistency, we are disappointed. The toaster looks fantastic but toasts unevenly and inconsistently depending on the type of bread. The only consistent feature is that it overcooks on the inside bottom surfaces. We are seriously considering returning this appliance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mike56 from Lighter duty than expected for the price. I feel this is lighter duty than I expected for the price. Toasting is even and fast. Toaster itself is lighter than expected and the outside gets pretty hot when toasting. The first time you use it, you have to set the highest temp twice and you can't touch the outside of the toaster as it's too hot. The feet are the same height as the cord so moving it back and forth under the cupboards when in use gets it a bit tippy if you don't watch the cord. Performs well overall and looks good on the counter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bioteacher from Do not buy this toaster I bought this toaster in October. By November, just a month later, the inside element had stopped working. I contacted ZWILLING as it was clearly under warranty. They said to send it back and they would replace it within 6 weeks. 6 weeks seemed a long time, but anyhow, I sent it in. That was 10 weeks ago. No communication from them at all. None. And no replacement toaster. This is not a cheap $15 toaster. I am very unimpressed and highly recommend that you not buy a toaster from ZWILLING. Ever.

Top is plastic and within time the plastic begins to breakdown as it can’t handle the heat. Had to replace 2 toasters within 18 months. Grateful for the warranty however how long with my 3rd one last.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Seannie from Over-priced. Breaking down I had high hopes for this toaster. My $60 15 year old Black&Decker toaster was still working fine, but I figured an upgrade was due. Unfortunately, this toaster does not live up to the price or brand. The toast actually takes longer than any other toaster I've used, but I was ok with that. Now, about 2 years after purchase, the white plastic on the top surface is breaking due to heat, and the right toaster lever doesn't always work---it won't stay down half the time.
