The Fresh & Save vacuum pump is at the heart of the smart storage system by ZWILLING. The sleek, quiet, cordless vacuum pump extracts the air out of our vacuum containers and bags in just seconds and preserves aromas and vitamins. It stops automatically once a sufficient vacuum has been created. Equipped with a long-life lithium-ion battery, the pump can be charged quickly using the included USB via the charging socket located on the pump.

With the Fresh & Save system, you can shop once a week and refrigerate or freeze fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, and fish in our vacuum containers and bags and enjoy the benefits of your own fresh market at home. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please don't buy the vacuum pump. Please don't buy the vacuum pump. If you buys it and it breaks by itself then you will have to pay for it. I bought the pump and used it for less than 4 months but it already got broken. The battery won't get charged so I can't use it. But Zwilling told me that if I want to get it fixed I need to send then it and they won't pay for the 50$ return label under the warranty policy. In addition, the money I spend to buy the multiple sub parts needed for the product have gone to waste. What if the product you bought was the fault of Zwilling but like us they won't pay for return label and also not even get it fixed or replaced if you don't have the warranty. It'd be better to just buy off of a no name brand, they'd give you better service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Careful of the liquids I love this and used it for a few years until I got greedy and a bit too aggressive in vacuuming a soup in a bag. I did not attempt to claim a warranty as I've had it for about three years and really shouldn't have tried to use it the way I did. I love the re-usable bags system. It's very easy and straightforward. The two biggest features for me were the reusability of the bags and the small size/rechargeable (no need to plug something in on the counter).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't keep the seal on any bag When you seal item in their reusable bag the air the bag is completely vacuum pack, you go back to your freezer the next day and air has started to get into your food. Same if you have items in your fridge, so it defeat the purpose. I would not recommend this product at all, I have this product now for 3 months. So we have used it multiple time with same results. Bad product

I had this just over a year and the hand held vacuum will not charge anymore. I am not sure why, anyone else with this experience ?
